Located on Sea Island, the Boathouse and Beach Club offer two distinct but complementary wedding settings within one of the Southeast’s most exclusive coastal resorts. The Boathouse provides a quieter, riverfront environment surrounded by marsh and natural Lowcountry landscape, while the Beach Club offers a more open, oceanfront setting with direct access to the shoreline. Together, these spaces allow for a flexible, multi-location wedding experience that moves between waterfront, beach, and resort environments. From a photography perspective, the combination of soft coastal light, water views, and controlled private spaces creates a clean, elevated look throughout the day.

Sea Island is a private luxury resort community known for its high level of service, controlled access, and expansive coastal setting. The Boathouse is located along the river and marsh side of the property, offering a more secluded atmosphere, while the Beach Club sits directly on the Atlantic Ocean, providing beachfront access and panoramic water views. The resort is located about 1.5 hours from Jacksonville, Florida, and is designed to host multi-day events with guests staying on property.

The Frederica Boathouse offers a more intimate, waterfront setting along the river, with marsh views and a quieter atmosphere. This space works well for welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, or smaller gatherings, with soft light reflecting off the water and a more natural Lowcountry backdrop.

The Beach Club provides direct access to the ocean and a more open, coastal setting. With wide views of the Atlantic and clean beachfront lines, it’s ideal for ceremonies, cocktail hour, or portraits that emphasize the shoreline and horizon.

The Frederica Boathouse offers a more intimate, waterfront setting along the river, with marsh views and a quieter atmosphere. This space works well for welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, or smaller gatherings, with soft light reflecting off the water and a more natural Lowcountry backdrop.

The Boat house is one of the best venues with a built in ballroom overlooking the lake, a waterfront ceremony site, and gorgeous landscapes.  Aside from the Boat House and the Beach club, Sea Island also has an incredible golf course club house.

The Sea Island beach club has a wonderful ocean front lawn that's perfect for a tented reception.  Evenings at Sea Island bring soft, warm light across the water and landscape. The combination of open sky, reflective surfaces, and natural surroundings creates ideal conditions for sunset portraits.
