Southern venues
The Ford Field and River Club is a 1,800‑acre private residential and sporting community located in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Originally developed on land once owned by Henry Ford, the property emphasizes conservation and low-density development. The venue includes waterfront event spaces, historic-inspired buildings, and access to the Ogeechee River, and is located about 30 minutes from Savannah, making it both accessible and highly private.
The Ford | Savannah, GA
Located just outside Savannah, The Ford Field and River Club is a private coastal community known for its understated luxury and expansive natural setting. Set along the Ogeechee River, the property combines classic Southern architecture with preserved landscapes, including live oaks, open fields, and waterfront views. Weddings here feel quiet and intentional, often spread across multiple areas of the property rather than centered in a single venue space. From a photography perspective, the mix of structured architecture and natural Lowcountry scenery creates a clean, timeless look throughout the day.
