The wonderful people at Savannah Weddings wrote a piece about Bill and Molly's wedding and were kind enough to send me a few copies (thanks especially to Annabelle Carr). Beautiful magazine guys!
just felt like blogging a random picture...
I took this picture about 1.5 years ago and for some reason decided to play around with it today. It was taken with a Nikon D70 and a piece of junk kit lens. Which goes to show that a little photoshop can go a long way. Although, the gear doesn't hurt. In fact, as I'm sitting here, all I can think about is my brand new camera (a Nikon D700 ) that's supposed to get here tomorrow. Yee-haw. Also, to really sweeten the deal, I'm getting a new lens too. It's a Nikon 14-24 2.8 which is SUPER wide on the full frame D700. Very excited to play around with it...I'll be sure to let you guys know what I think.Technorati Profile
coleen and zack...
are incredible. we're working on getting this one published so keep your fingers crossed...Coleen and Zack got married a few weeks ago at the Brazilian Court Hotel in West Palm Beach, Florida. It was an incredible wedding to be a part of and especially great to photograph. Incredible dress, details, ceremony, food, and I have to say; I've rarely seen so many beautiful people in one room or a better looking bride and groom.... Enjoy!

sean and liza's beautiful wedding took place in the middle of a hurricane in charleston a while back. we ended up doing all of their formals with a flash which made for some kind of unique shots....leave me some feedback if you have a second....

my really good friend at Fellici Studio met up with me to shoot a wedding and ended up snapping a few shots of sarah and me a couple months back. i feel a little funny posting them but I was thinking I should put up some personal stuff every once in a while. i feel a little better behind the camera than in front of it but Sarah did really great.
sean + liza
Sean and Liza are a great couple that hail from Eugene, OR.E-shoot: Clemson campus
Wedding: Charleston, SC
I shot their engagement pics a few weeks ago and I was able to shoot their wedding about a week later. The wedding was awesome and took place right in the middle of one of those monster hurricane's. It was kind of an adventure shooting in the rain. at night. in a hurricane. Stay tuned for those pics. Meanwhile, enjoy the images from the e-sesh in the blistering sun....

ok. i haven't posted in a long time. and before that, it was kind of a long time, and actually, it was a long time before that one too. i guess the bottom line is i haven't been posting very regularly. it's summer time and i'm really busy and blah blah blah.
i have to be honest, people. it is a little hard to make yourself write a journal and put forth all this effort and only get a couple measly comments. now, for those two or three of you that did comment, i'm not calling you measly. i'm talking to the random viewer in brazil who never says anything (yeah, i know you're out there. i can see you in my stats). a lot of people come to this blog right? i know there are loyal viewers and if you're reading this, then you must be one of them because if you weren't, you'd have been de-terd by the fact that i never post and you wouldn't be here at this very moment reading each and every word i type. so, why don't you do me a favor, take a moment, and let me know why it is you never comment. i want to know....;)
justin and michelle
Justin Demers. A lot of people who read this blog probably already know who he is. Insanely good photographer? Canadian? ringing any bells yet? Well, he was my photographer when I got married last year and probably just to be a nice guy, he hired me to photograph him and his beautiful wife/business partner Michelle when they got married last month. These guys are hilarious. I'm pretty sure I laughed the whole shoot.
anna & gabe
you may remember anna from a bridal shoot a few posts back. anna and gabe are two friends of mine from college days. gabe and i also did some traveling together in europe at one point so i was pretty excited to be able to shoot their wedding. it was a genuine and beautiful ceremony and a crazy party afterwards. i'm not much of a writer so i don't usually say much about these posts but i have to tell you that anna and gabe love each other as much as any two people i've ever seen. when you witness something like that, it's moving; even if you've been to 100 other weddings, it's a very special gift.anyways, enough gooey emotional stuff; here are some nice photos....
here's one to show you we still take the traditional family shots in addition to the fun ones.
