coleen and zack…

are incredible. we’re working on getting this one published so keep your fingers crossed…
Coleen and Zack got married a few weeks ago at the Brazilian Court Hotel in West Palm Beach, Florida.
It was an incredible wedding to be a part of and especially great to photograph. Incredible dress, details, ceremony, food, and I have to say; I’ve rarely seen so many beautiful people in one room or a better looking bride and groom….
Enjoy!

tim - these are stunning! what a beautiful wedding

Katie Beverley:

Gorgeous! Hope you get this published! You deserve it :)

Kate Garcia:

Love the details. Great as always! And that dinner looks amazing!

Meta:

Agreed on a tasty-looking dinner! The groom looks a little bit like Christian Bale, too, which makes me wish in the last shot the guys were all “carrying the banner.”

sean and liza..

sean and liza’s beautiful wedding took place in the middle of a hurricane in charleston a while back. we ended up doing all of their formals with a flash which made for some kind of unique shots….
leave me some feedback if you have a second….

Kyle:

Flash is tricky. I think you did an amazing job though. I especially love number 4, 5, and 6. Can I ask what kind of lighting setting you were using?

Shaina Pearce:

LOVE the dancing picture. Secret moments like that are my fav thing to capture.

Katie Beverley:

Super cool, Tim! I love how you used the flash!

Lauren:

I love the 4th image! Gorgeous!

Braeden Rogers:

Really nice work. Favorite being the 6th down.

tim willoughby:

Thanks guys! Glad you like them! It really was fun using the flash for some portraits. It was completely dark and raining so it was kind of necessary…
Kyle, I had a pocket wizard on my 5d and Sarah was standing behind Sean and Liza (ducking down) with a Nikon SB800 set to manual exposure. Nothing fancy about it but it did a great job. Those pocket wizards are a great flash addition. (for anyone who hasn’t heard of it, it’s not a flash but it transmits wirelessly to the flash so you can do off-camera lighting)

Shaylene Andersen:

You are so talented!! In your description it almost sounded as if the pictures might not be as great as usual… oh that I doubted you for a second! I love, love, love the one of their profiles with the back lighting flash and the rain in the background.

Sean Garrison:

Wow. Again, spectacular. I love the 9th picture, so vibrantly captivating…

jackie wonders:

you rocked that lighting! i love the punches of color in the first shot..scrumptious:)

Sarah M.:

Tim, your last three posts (including this one) are so good! I love the way the flash brought out so many colors at this wedding, especially the greens. Your weddings are getting better and better and better…..

yvonne:

o my gosh, i looooooooove the flash portraits. i can’t even pick a favorite one cuz i love them all!

Everytime I look at these, I am amazed. Such great composition… People always ask what separates good wedding photography from great wedding photography, and it’s capturing real emotion, and you have done such a great job with that! Keep it up!

Kristin Tegethoff:

# 6 and 13 are my favorites…they definitely show your ability to find and capture true candid moments.
