hey everyone. dom is about 7 weeks old now which means i haven’t blogged in about 7 weeks.
i’m sorry to tell you this but time does become a little more scarce when you have a kid. shocker right?
so, since i was bad at blogging before, i’ll probably be even worse now. however, i’m not giving up yet. maybe eventually, but not yet.
here’s a couple shots of the kid.

Hey Willoughbys, really nice to see new pictures of Dominic but there’s no excuse for it taking 7 months!! What’s up with that!lol. Too bad I could not make it down with Pat when he saw you guys but with 2 horses it is hard to just get up and go. You can check out Eve’s senior photos on her facebook page if she will “friend” you!! They came out so pretty. She really doesn’t take a bad photo. Take care guys and congrats again. Jo
Wow, don’t mean to leave two comments in one day, but figured I’d be as shockingly saturating with my comments as you are to have two posts in two weeks. Your boy looks great and glad fatherhood hasn’t killed you; it almost did me with the lack of sleep (I don’t know how my wife does it). Anyway, glad things are well.

Sarah and I had our first child on Monday night (Aug 10th)! Sarah is incredible. She wanted to have the birth naturally so she didn’t get an epidural. She started having intense contractions around 8:30 am and labored 14 hours using the Bradley method of relaxation . At 10:30pm the obgyn insisted that the labor wasn’t progressing at all and that a c-section would be necessary. Apparently Sarah has what the doctor called “little boy hips”. It gets kind of technical…
Obviously a c-section is not what Sarah wanted but it worked out for the best. The delivery at that point was quick and everything went very smoothly. At 11:27 pm a beautiful, healthy boy was born! His name is Dominic and he’s 7 lbs 11 oz and 22.5 inches long. Some how I was able to snap a couple pics of everything that happened and I put it into a little slideshow. Don’t worry, there isn’t anything too graphic. It’s just a little 5 minute video so hopefully it’s done loading by now. If it isn’t FULLY loaded, just keep waiting. It’s kind of annoying if it starts and then stops 20 times.

Wow! He is just beautiful. Sarah, you look absolutely amazing after all of that. You don’t look like you skipped a beat. Dominic looks so alert and he loves that thumb. So sweet. Congrats Sarah and Tim! Thanks so much for the lovely record of Dominic’s birth. You will treasure it forever.Sarah looks great and deserves credit for trying to go natural. I know what that is like! He looks so much like a combination of the two of you right now but that changes a little as time goes by. I wish we lived closer so we could see you all more often.We love and miss you all and Tim your work is amazing. Tell Sarah to keep her chin up as recovery from a c-section can take a little more time and patience but Dominic is worth it all.

Tim, I have to say that I am so amazed, continually, at your work; God has so blessed your hands and eyes. Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us and I’ll go ahead and tell you that the best photo here, in my judgment, is bride and groom in the field with the major vignetting as well as the BW shot of the bridesmaids behind the sitting bride (the flower girl is what puts it over the top into awesomeness).
