pit stop

sarah and i made the long arduous trek from south carolina to michigan for an exciting and completely non-stressful week of wedding planning. it’s only a 14 hour drive but with a puppy you have to make a few extra stops. this is behind a gas station somewhere in …virginia? i think? i don’t know where it is.

veronica and rafael

these two people had the most sincere and moving vows that I’ve ever heard. the words were the same words that everyone uses but because of who they are and the commitment that they have to eachother the depth of their ceremony was really touching. they are very amazing people.
i tried something a little different with the way I edited this wedding. these images aren’t the bright colorful ones I usually present. I thought I’d try something kind of ‘antique’ this time. i hope you enjoy them.

wow.

it’s been so long since my last post i almost don’t remember how to blog.
so…getting back into it: Diana and Jim
Diana, Jim, Sarah, and I got up at the crack of dawn a few weeks back to take some photographs for their engagement.
I’m not sure how much Jim liked having his picture taken but he hung in there like a champ. God bless you guys!

This is a brilliant set. I love the shot of them on the stairs, the shot in front of the green door and the close up. Killa Kid!
